FirstSigns receives a lot of requests from under-graduate students wishing to talk to people who self harm, or wishing to distribute Questionnaires to our Members.

FirstSigns would like to support all researchers, however due to time constraints we are unable to deal with every request.

Before requesting research support, please ensure you intend to comply with the following:

All requests must be addressed to the FirstSigns Management Committee, and full details should be emailed to info@firstsigns.org.uk

Please do not email us from Hotmail / MSN - we are unable to reply to Hotmail / MSN due to their incredibly strict email regulations - you will not receive a response from FirstSigns if you choose to use Hotmail or MSN.

Questionnaires

Our members are very responsive to well thought out questionnaires, however if your Questionnaire is in Word format, and you expect people to email you with a completed document, you will only receive a dozen or so responses.

If you want fifty, or even hundreds and hundreds of responses, your questionnaire needs to be an online form.

Online questionnaires let people fill in things quickly, and people like them, they usually offer anonymity, which email / Word questionnaires cannot do.

If you do not have an online questionnaire, please contact Wedge to discuss your needs.
